Rigid and flexible floors can be created on indoor and outdoor sports fields with acrylic flooring material. With its economic structure and different color options, we offer professional world-class tennis courts to sports and athletes. The floor on which acrylic sports flooring material will be applied should preferably be asphalt.
It is a coating (zemin kaplama) that has been developed for tennis, especially for tennis, does not harm the health of the player, eliminates waist and foot injuries and provides a perfectly uniform ball splash thanks to the parts containing “CUSHION” suspension. For this type of coating; One of the variable types is chosen according to the budget and purpose.
Acrylic Flooring Usage Areas
ATLAS SPORT; These are acrylic-based floor coverings that are specially developed for tennis courts and allow the ball to be played in a controlled manner. It is suitable for all sports games played outdoors.
It is a system used in multi-purpose fields and tennis courts. This system is one of the preferred systems because it is more economical than other systems. It is a product resistant to UV rays, rain and heat.
Acrylic floor coating systems on concrete and asphalt is an indispensable flooring system for the courts, especially developed for tennis courts, basketball, volleyball, badminton field floors, walking and cycling tracks, track and field tracks, preferred by professional athletes. It is a cushion-based acrylic based flooring system that provides perfect control of the game ball on the field and relieves muscle pain on the person. It is suitable for all sports games played in outdoor conditions.
How Is Acrylic Floor Coverings Applied?
The materials that make up the system come in liquid-gel consistency in barrels and are applied in separate layers, without rain and by laying on asphalt or concrete floor at least 10 – 12 C air temperature. During this process, the main thing is not to make a top coat before the bottom coat is completely dry. First, the existing surface defects on the existing floor are covered with a mixture, if the floor is concrete, a layer of concrete preparation is then covered, and then the system is started to be covered as stated above. Under suitable weather conditions, 1 court can be finished in approximately 6 days. But the reason for the long duration is that intermediate floors are expected. In other words, the number of courts to be completed within 6 days may increase.
Acrylic Floor Coverings and Sports Field Construction
Acrylic Floor Coverings Substructure: After the area where the fields will be built is leveled properly, it is surrounded with a 60 cm x 20 cm border. While the curb concrete is poured, eyebolts of the pipes to be used for wire mesh are placed into the mold every three meters. The area inside this border, 20 cm of which will remain in the soil, is first filled with large stones of 15 cm height and compacted. This compacted ground is mechanically stabilized (crushing) with an average of 15 cm, 50% stone dust. During this process, a transverse and one-sided inclination is given to the field, 6-8 per thousand per meter. This slope is made to facilitate the easy slide of rain water over the field and thus drying. Plastic drainage pipes are used to prevent water coming from the bottom during grinding and to protect the upper coating, and discharge holes are left in front of their mouths. During the above processes, the field is irrigated frequently, the ground is set well and it is made ready for asphalt.
The descriptions of the acrylic-based materials we use in tennis courts and multi-purpose fields (such as basketball, volleyball, mini football) are as follows:
Asphalt surfaces – Make sure that the asphalt surface is set at least 14 days in advance. All oil, dirt, loose and swollen layers on the surface are cleaned.
Concrete surfaces – If asphalt supply is difficult or possible in your area, concrete should be used instead of asphalt. However, concrete should be manufactured in such a way that it does not crack. The upper part should be smoothed very smoothly with the system called helicopter method. No joints should definitely be left, joints left during manufacturing should be improved because the movements and cracks in the concrete will pass up exactly and crack the acrylic coating. During the floor production, the necessary slope should be given to the field.
